Trello integration

In short

Read boards and lists, and create, move and comment on cards. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls Trello through Sapilon without ever holding an Atlassian credential.

Lets your app read boards, lists and cards, create cards, move or update them and add comments, as the Trello member who generated the token.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on Trello and fill in:

  • API key — trello.com/power-ups/admin → your Power-Up → API key.
  • Token — On the same page, follow the “Token” link and allow access to generate a token.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • GET /members/me
  • GET /members/me/boards
  • GET /boards/*
  • GET /boards/*/lists
  • GET /boards/*/cards
  • GET /lists/*/cards
  • POST /cards
  • GET|PUT /cards/*
  • POST /cards/*/actions/comments

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('trello', …); paths are relative to https://api.trello.com/1.

  • GET /members/me, GET /members/me/boards — the member and their boards.
  • GET /boards/{id}, GET /boards/{id}/lists, GET /boards/{id}/cards — Example: { method: 'GET', path: '/boards/5f1/lists' }.
  • GET /lists/{id}/cards — cards in a list.
  • POST /cards — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/cards', query: { idList: '5f2', name: 'Call back', due: '2026-10-20' } }.
  • GET|PUT /cards/{id} — read, rename, move (idList) or archive (closed: true). Example: { method: 'PUT', path: '/cards/5f3', query: { idList: '5f4' } }.
  • POST /cards/{id}/actions/comments — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/cards/5f3/actions/comments', query: { text: 'Done' } }.

Deleting is not allowed.
