Notion integration

In short

Search, read and update pages and databases. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls Notion through Sapilon without ever holding a Notion credential.

Lets your app search, read and query the pages and databases you share with the integration, and create or update pages.

Notion only exposes the pages you pick on its consent screen; share more pages from Notion’s menu later.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on Notion, sign in to Notion and allow access.

Or connect with a key instead — fill in:

  • Internal integration secret — notion.so/profile/integrations → your integration → Configuration → Internal Integration Secret. Then share the pages it should see.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

  • Notion asks you which pages to share; your app sees only those.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • POST /search
  • GET /databases/*
  • POST /databases/*/query
  • GET|PATCH /pages/*
  • POST /pages
  • GET /blocks/*/children

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('notion', …); paths are relative to https://api.notion.com/v1 and the Notion-Version header is added for you. Only pages shared with the integration are visible.

  • POST /search — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/search', body: { query: 'Roadmap' } }.
  • GET /databases/{id} — schema. POST /databases/{id}/query — rows. Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/databases/abc/query', body: { page_size: 50 } }.
  • GET|PATCH /pages/{id}, POST /pages — Example: { method: 'POST', path: '/pages', body: { parent: { database_id: 'abc' }, properties: { Name: { title: [{ text: { content: 'New' } }] } } } }.
  • GET /blocks/{id}/children — page content. Example: { method: 'GET', path: '/blocks/abc/children' }.
