SurveyMonkey integration

In short

Read surveys, their questions and responses. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls SurveyMonkey through Sapilon without ever holding a SurveyMonkey credential.

Lets your app list your SurveyMonkey surveys, read their pages and questions, and read the responses they collected.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on SurveyMonkey and fill in:

  • Access token — developer.surveymonkey.com → My Apps → Add a new app (Private) → Settings → Access Token. Give it the View Surveys and View Responses scopes.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

  • Accounts in the EU data centre are not supported yet.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • GET /users/me
  • GET /surveys
  • GET /surveys/*/details
  • GET /surveys/*/collectors
  • GET /surveys/*/responses/bulk
  • GET /surveys/*/responses/*/details

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('surveymonkey', …); paths are relative to https://api.surveymonkey.com/v3.

  • GET /users/me, GET /surveys — the account and its surveys (query: { per_page: '50' }).
  • GET /surveys/{id}/details — pages, questions and answer choices with their ids.
  • GET /surveys/{id}/collectors — where responses come from (links, emails).
  • GET /surveys/{id}/responses/bulk — every response with answers. Example: { method: 'GET', path: '/surveys/4101/responses/bulk', query: { per_page: '100', start_created_at: '2026-10-01T00:00:00' } }. GET /surveys/{id}/responses/{responseId}/details — one.

Answers carry choice ids: match them against /details. Read-only.
