Sapilon exists because AI can dramatically cut the cost and time of building software. But unmanaged AI creates chaos, and legacy systems stay stuck. We govern AI to fix both.
Our background
We have spent twenty years building app builders. Over that time we took them through three major shifts in how business software gets made, and each generation arrived with the same promise: this time, building software will be easy.
Each one taught us where that promise breaks. Rarely on the first day. It breaks in year three, when the platform needs an upgrade, the one person who understood the system has left, and the gap between a good demo and software a company can run on for a decade finally shows.
Sapilon is what those years taught us, joined with what AI can now do. The lessons set the structure: opinionated architecture, governed change, and a lifecycle instead of a one-off generation. AI brings the speed. The aim has not changed since we started: solve real problems for the people who depend on the software.

Where we sit
Between AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot) and no-code platforms (AppSheet, Webflow), and neither. Sapilon is a software factory and modernization engine, not a code generator.
Where we are
Made with care in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Platform data and the software we build for you both run on AWS infrastructure we provision and operate. The code itself is yours in plain Git, so you can run it wherever you choose.
