Postman integration

In short

Read and update workspaces, collections and environments. Connect it on the Integrations page; your app then calls Postman through Sapilon without ever holding a Postman credential.

Lets your app list Postman workspaces, read collections and environments, and update a collection.

Connecting

On the Integrations page choose Connect on Postman and fill in:

  • API key — Postman → your avatar → Settings → API keys → Generate API key.

Sapilon checks the key with the provider before it saves it, and stores it encrypted; it is never shown again.

What your app can do

Only these requests are available; anything else is refused.

  • GET /me
  • GET /workspaces
  • GET /workspaces/*
  • GET /collections
  • GET|PUT /collections/*
  • GET /environments
  • GET /environments/*

How the agent uses it

Use integrations.request('postman', …); paths are relative to https://api.getpostman.com.

  • GET /me, GET /workspaces, GET /workspaces/{id} — its collections and environments.
  • GET /collections (query: { workspace }), GET /collections/{uid} — the full collection JSON.
  • PUT /collections/{uid} — replaces the whole collection: body: { collection: { info, item } }. Read it first and send it back changed.
  • GET /environments, GET /environments/{uid} — secret values come back masked.

Deleting is not allowed.
